Berry Cobbler

Enjoy this heartburn-free berry cobbler.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1-teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups of raspberries (blackberries, cranberries or blueberries can be substituted)

PREPARATION:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray a 9x9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Blend together flour, sugar, baking, powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Stir in butter, milk, vanilla and egg.
  • Stir until mixture is smooth.
  • Fold in berries.
  • Pour into prepared pan, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until top is firm.
