Enjoy this heartburn-free berry cobbler.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1-teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups of raspberries (blackberries, cranberries or blueberries can be substituted)
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9x9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Blend together flour, sugar, baking, powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Stir in butter, milk, vanilla and egg.
- Stir until mixture is smooth.
- Fold in berries.
- Pour into prepared pan, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until top is firm.
